World Baseball Classic 2017: Yadier Molina's arm too strong for Netherlands

Confirmed: Yadier Molina’s throwing arm is ready for the season.

Molina absolutely clowned by Jurickson Profar with it during Monday’s World Baseball Classic semifinal between Puerto Rico and the Netherlands. Profar was a bit hyped about a single to right field (which didn’t drive in a run). He forgot A. The ball was still in play and B. Molina had it.

That wasn’t even Molina’s first pickoff of the inning. The Cardinals backstop caught Andrelton Simmons too far off second base on a bunt play.

Molina’s hose was a big part of a wild first inning at Dodger Stadium in which each team scored twice. The winner of Monday’s game will face the winner of Tuesday’s game between the U.S. and Japan for the WBC championship.
